This is in the context of the answer to the question everyone's asking: is Washington's deal still in effect? Does Beden's administration aim to continue the work done by preliminary administrations? But a terrifying act took place on September 8, 2020.
Former Prime Minister Albin Kurti had publicly talked about this agreement reached in Washington with severe tones and with characteristic negativeity.
Kurti had openly said that Sie intends to respect the agreement signed at the White House for economic normalisation once it comes to the position of Kosovo prime minister.
“We have no obligation to pledge the illegal prime minister of Kosovo when we return to office. Its signature under non-contained and non-transparent texts is against the will of the people, democratic order and violates Kosovo's constitution and laws. They will not be ratified in our Parliament. Mediators should refrain from fostering further divisions between Kosovo and Serbia. Only principled and well prepared dialogue leads to fair and lasting agreements”, Kurti wrote.
Shortly after this powerful statement against the US administration, the White House's special envoy for dialogue, Richard Green, had reacted, saying that “one thing was certain, Kurt would always be against America. ”
This seems to guarantee a new clash between Kurt and the new US administration led by Joe Biden.
