Both attackers were arrested on the night of August 14th, while today the Court of Appeals has stiffened their sentences.
The Constitutional Court Act at Ferizaj of 2909.20 has been changed, only in terms of the sentence. The defendants (each separately) have been stiffened with prison sentences of seven months since they were pronounced by the first-degree court in one year”.
The Foundation Court in Ferizaj has found the defendants guilty of assaulting two police officials, the act punishable according to Article 402 paragraph 4 concerning paragraphs 2 and 1 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.

So, given the weight of criminal acts, as well as other concrete circumstances, the criminal college has come to the conclusion that the sentences handed down by the court in the first degree against the defendants are mild sentences”, the Court of Appeals community says.
