Rugova's closest man to be LDK candidate for MP

Adnan Merovci, the former close associate of former historic Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova, is expected to be the candidate for MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo.

News of his running for deputy has made LDK representative from the first branch in Pristina, Dasmor Durmishi.

“LDK First Branch with two MPs candidate from our Feim Salihu branch Adnan Merovci” wrote Durmish on his Facebook profile.

Merovci has exercised top public functions in Kosovo, being chairman of the CEC and PTK chief chief. He has also published a book dedicated to his memories with President Rugova.
