Trump's supporters broke into the Capitol building on January 6th and clashed with security forces. Five people died during the violence, including a policeman, broadcast the Express newspaper.
House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Friday that each member of Congress who has provided help to violent people attack the important building must face prosecution, Reuters writes.
After the violence sparked, the majority House of Representatives approved investigations against President Trump. He is the first president in the history of the United States to be twice officially charged by the Senate's lower chamber. He faces charges of sedition.
Trump initially conveyed words of praise to supporters who exercised violence on January 6th, but later said they would be brought to justice. Some important figures have been distanced from Trump's stance, and ten members of his party voted for the development of investigations into the president left four days in power.
