He has invited the diaspora not to fall prey to the frauds of the two online pages that are today launched by people still unknown and aimed at stealing personal data.
He said the CEC as an institution has asked Kosovo Police to investigate and bring to justice perpetrators who are aiming to manipulate voters in the diaspora.
Arian Elshan's complete statement:
Today as representative of the day The PDK in the CEC has been notified of two applications for voting from abroad, running through social networks. These two apps are neither official nor supported by the CEC.
So we have reacted like the CEC by inviting the police to identify and stop misusing that could be done with the right to vote our countrymen. The theft of personal data protected by Kosovo laws and European Union legislation is under way.
This app endangers the integrity of every vote and any personal giving of citizens living abroad, which may fall prey to misuse by bad political tendencies by changing the will of the diaspora. We've all witnessed abuse and abuse that iu has become the outside vote in the 2017 and 2019 elections, so I invite our diaspora to use only the official CEC form and the official link for application and support justice and security organs to investigate who stands behind these apps that can abuse the diaspora vote.
