Here's the full announcement:
Dear co-placents,
By 1101.2021, in the quality of Racank village representative I attended a consultative meeting called by the Mayor of the Comea, concerning the agenda dedicated to 15 January 1999 “Sacre of Raçak” We were present at this meeting:
Mayor Naim Ishmael; Deputy Mayor Jakupi; Director DSHP representative Hamez Trshani, Racac village representative Ademi Ramadani, as well as police officials from the Shtime police station.
At this meeting after discussions, all were of reconciliation that should be respected the measures of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Health for implementing strides for defence from Pandemia COVID-19.
Based on these measures, we were all aware that gatherings are forbidden and that as a result of this ban on this anniversary there will be no Memorial Academy dedicated to the “Masakra of Racan”, so that we can avoid large crowds that could prove harmful to our population.
It has been several years since the organisation of the January 15th 1999 commemoration of Racan's Massacre has taken under its auspices the presidency of the Republic of Kosovo, but what it looks like this year, the presidency is dealing more closely with parliamentary elections, dismissing an event that is among the most important events in our country.
We urge all citizens who want to participate in Homazhe to be equipped with masks and to respect the previous distance from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo-The Ministry of Health.
