Regarding her candidacy, she spoke for the first time through a Facebook post saying she put herself on no easy task.

The reason for running MPs is to represent survivors of sexual violence from the recent war in Kosovo, as according to her, it is an honor for her and requires spiritual and emotional strain.

Dear citizens of my country!

Never in my life have I thought of this moment, not even a few days ago, but today is a new moment in my life, now I have given myself a task that is not easy for me at all.

As you have understood, I will run for a seat in the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament so that even more actively represent the survivors/of sexual violence from the recent war in Kosovo.

Presenting such a category in the temple of democracy will be a challenge and an honor to me, a challenge because it requires spiritual and emocial strain, and honor because through this representation I will work with the greatest wish, and you know why!

This race I have decided to do by entering the candidate list for deputy to subject Vetevendosje.
