According to Haradinaj, Kosovo is a democratic state, and therefore has invited it to a televised debate against the candidate, to clarify for the responsibilities and duties awaiting the future president.
“Even Vetevendosje has nominated Miss Osmani, which makes it more serious, I have invited Osman to the debate, to explain how she will help the Kosovo situation, have welcomed the candidacy. We are democracy, the one who wins the majority in parliament, will be elected president. It is not only the government's establishment, but the election of president by 2/3 in the Kosovo parliament is difficult”, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj further stressed that the issue of electing the president does not have much time, and that Kosovo will be gravely mistaken if they do not elect the president before the previous time by law.
” We are extremely close with the time for the president's election, Kosovo would make a very big mistake, with the president's absence before the previous date. That's why I'm stuck in the race for president, it wasn't the whole coincidence”, Haradinaj said at Kanal10./Periscopi/
