Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has started breakfast with a conversation with citizens in Korca.
Rama praised the work of doctors at war with pandemics while also commenting on the issue of anti-virus vaccine.
The government head said the supply would start with a smaller than promised amount, starting Monday, but the amounts would come up rapidly.
During this conversation, Rama has also shown the three scenarios of anti-imoculation. - CO VID.
“As far as the vaccine is concerned, you're following what's happening in Europe, with the difficulty the countries are having to guarantee supply under previously set conditions, that's their claim. Because the companyfiser has made a curb on production with arguments it needs little time to finance increased investment in production capacities. Understandably, the entire planet wants a vaccine, but I'm glad we managed to get out of the siege, where we found ourselves unwilling and not because of our own. We in the first place were happy to get out of the siege where they were found without desire and not because of our fault, along with other countries that were left out and we managed to have a deal with Pfizer without waiting for COVAX and which is not known when it's going to start”, he said.
Rama has also said the contract with Pfizer is for 500,000 renewable doses. He has told of the three scenarios for the vaccine supply, writes TopChannel.
We have a contract with Pfizer for 500 thousand renewable doses. We don't make any exceptions from the general, we didn't have vaccines in time, we got confirmation that we will launch the supply from Pfizer on Monday, I hope we don't get any further notice. We'll start with a smaller amount than promised but they'll come up fast. We're close to the second dose for those who took it, and as the supply starts, we'll be able to extend it very quickly to you, doctors and nurses. We have advanced negotiations with Astrazenecan, there are several other vaccines on their way out. It is an unimaginable struggle of interest and backstage to find the path to getting closer to the vaccine. We're not gonna miss you like a dosage. I'm very optimistic that from the point of view of the dosage capacity, we're not going to have a shortage, we have a plan with three scenarios. The first is to perform the vaccine for 14 months. The next scenario is 18 months, and the other is either 22 or 24 months if I'm not mistaken. We will be on the right track even in this regard”, Rama said.
