The President's Office reacts: Election announcements in line with Constitution

The ZPRK says that prior to the announcement of the election date it has distributed the 7th Parliament legislature of Kosovo.

U.d. The president of the Republic of Kosovo, taking into account the Constitutional Court Act in case Ko95/20, following preliminary consultation with political subjects, and relying on legal provisions and preliminary practices, Prior to announcing the election date, it has distributed its seventh legislature through the Decree No. 03,2021, January 6, 2021. The decree's release is made before the decision to announce the date of early elections for the Republic of Kosovo Assembly.

The decision and edict are two different types of acts derived from the U.D. The President. As such, both have different numbers of registration and their identity that correspond to the type of legal act. Before the decree was issued for the distribution of the seventh Legislate, two additional decrees were issued in 2021, bearing preliminary numbers of the Decree Protocol. But prior to making the decision to announce the elections, another preliminary decision with a number of rules has been made before the decision in question.

On the same day as the decree for the distribution of the Assembly was issued, this Secret has been sent to the Assembly, protocol with No. 07/1371/Do-792, January 6th. In the President's Office protocol, the accompanying paperwork and the decree for distribution of the Assembly have the number of protocol 12, while the accompanying paperwork and the decision to announce elections has a rating of 13.

So after the Constitutional Court Act, through the decree of 03/2021, U.d. The president has distributed the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, and then through the 02/2021 verdict she has announced early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
