The Democrat President of the U.S. Congress, Nancy Pelosi, announced that she spoke to the top general at the Pentagon today about Donald Trump's access to nuclear weapons. She said she had spoken with General Mark Milley about how an unstable president could be stopped to launch a nuclear attack.
“The situation can no longer be dangerous by an uncontrolled president and we must do everything to protect the American people from attacking the country and democracy,” said Pelosi.
She did not disclose what she specifically talked about, but the media say the general has suggested the nuclear codes are safe.
This statement by Peloss comes at the time the Democrats have revived efforts to sack Trump using the 25th Constitution amendment.
The political situation was significantly troubled in the US on Wednesday, after Donald Trump's supporters occupied the congress building.
A laptop has reportedly been stolen from Pelosi's office during the riots. A helper confirmed the news about Reuters.
And the Daily Mail writes that there are doubts that secret materials may have been stolen during the conquest of the Capitol building. PERISCOP/
