The Democratic Party of Kosovo will respect the KDR decision, turning away from the list the candidate who fails to meet the previous conditions, according to the Constitutional Court's decision published in December 2020. Full respect for the norms that the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo defines and other legal acts for free, fair and democratic elections are necessary criteria to ensure the integrity and prosperity of the election process in Kosovo”, the communiqué says.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has always followed the practice of failing to run convicted or charged with various criminal acts. This practice will continue in these elections, despite the release that has been made on the list handed over to the Central Election Commission for the February 14th extraordinary elections.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo will respect the KDR decision, moving away from the candidate list that fails to meet the pre-term conditions, according to the Constitutional Court's decision published in December 2020.
