According to Germany's Interior Ministry, police systematically control at airports and ports for travellers to have the negative test with them, while at land borders towards other members of the European Union where there are no border controls, random inspections are conducted.

Police have also increased their presence for the same purpose at Munich Airport.

German health authorities recently reported 12,257 new Corleone cases in the last 24 hours, while 349 deaths were recorded, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute's virology.
