Andrew. Pollard, in the presence of Prince William, said the vaccine comes at a critical moment in dealing with the pandemic and underlined that this brings hope for the country and the world.
I think this is a critical moment, as we are at a point where we are being overloaded by this disease. That's why it gives us hope, but we'll have a few very difficult weeks ahead. Of course we have better immune answers. At the moment, the figures are a little small to be absolutely sure that it translates into a better defence, but we think it will provide immunity. And so I think there's no harm in having a longer waiting time and that might have its benefits”, Pollard said.
Otherwise, Great Britain is currently facing a serious health crisis and quarantine imposed to reduce the spread of the coronary.
