Obilqi, Fushe Kosova, Drenas and part of Pristina remain without water

Regional Water Company “Pristina” has announced that as a result of the rain rains in recent days, surface leaks have increased in the field areas and then the same have again ended up in the Iber Lepenci channel, the canal from which unworked water is obtained to be treated for drink at ITUP Shkabaj. [...]
The pipeline says that, as a result, there is an increase in turmoil at that level that made it impossible to treat water for conformal drinking the standards and technology they possess.
In order to preserve the quality of water for drink, save the technology equipment, we are obliged to reduce water production from this plant to a minimum, with which we have been forced to cut off the supply of drinking water for consumers in areas: Obilic, Fushe Kosovo, Drenas and the Kalabria neighbourhood in Pristina. As a result of the break of work on ITUP Shkabaj, several other areas in Pristina will have reductions between noon and night, more specifically those who are supplied with water from the Badoc system and the Kodra, due to technical alternatives to supply areas that are most infected by this turmoil. As the conditions allow water to be treated and guaranteed the right quality after treatment, we will restore the normal state with treatment and supply. We apologize and thank you for understanding”, says an announcement.
