Minister Mustafa, during his visit to one of the milk collection points in this municipality, has said he is happy because the Government of Kosovo had financial opportunities to help farmers during 2020 through subsidies, where part of the payments have only ended.
We're in the Malisheva municipality today, at one of the most important building points in this region, and in the entire country, where we talked to the owner, but also the cooperatives of this gathering point. Of course, there is a summary of what we have accomplished during 2020, and we will continue in 2021. It is good news that we have had financial opportunities with the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to secure sufficient funds even through budget law, thus guaranteeing funds to have double subsidies payment for 2020, and a large portion has been completed”, Mustafa said.
Mustafa has said that despite political developments, funds for farmers are also guaranteed the rest of the fees for farmers and farmers will take place this year, at the start of budget relocation.
With the passage of the Law on Economic Recovery and the passage of the 2021 Budget Law, these funds are guaranteed, regardless of any development, these are guaranteed for farmers, for farmers throughout Kosovo. These funds will begin to be paid in February, there is also a portion of the second tranche to be completed to complete all the 2020 payments -- that is, in February, with the start of budget relocation”, Mustafa said.
Mustafa has said that milk quality has doubled subsidies for 2020, while adding that even for farmers, subsidies for heads of cattle have been doubled from 70 euros in 2019 to 140 euros for 2020.
As it adds that compared with 2019, this ministry has had 130 percent growth in investments, with the sole goal of developing the agriculture sector, but also for youth to stay and work in their country.
“If we take into account grants, an interest subvention, a new programme that we have implemented during 2020, and we are expected to soon make two million euros of loan interest, add that to two million that we have paid for damages for the first six months ... so we have over 100 million euros in various forms of agriculture sector investments, while for 20119, these investments were 45 million, so we have 130 percent growth in agriculture, from 2019 to 2020, with the sole purpose of developing sector employment, and creating all the reasons for the new housing in their homes in their own country, Mustafa, for example.
Minister Mustafa will also visit farmers in Xrxa, Rogovo and Lipveec.
