Infrastructure Minister Arba Abrashi and Peja municipality Chairman Gazmend Muharzier have signed memorandums of co-operation to finance several important infrastructure projects in this municipality.

Minister Abrashi said infrastructure investments in the Pec municipality will serve mostly for tourism development, connecting the villages of this municipality among themselves.

Abrashi stressed that completing the municipal infrastructure has impact on the development of tourism and agriculture, also creating new jobs.

While Peja Chairman Gazmend Muhhazier said the memorandum signed today has a benefit in developing the municipality, especially in the growth of tourism.

He said implementation of these projects has been more than necessary for Pec, improving the road infrastructure.

The memorandum envisions the asphalt of several roads in the Pec municipality worth 1 million euros.

Municipal infrastructure projects are within the new investments the Ministry of Infrastructure provides for in 2021, totaling 33 new projects.
