Many Albanians from Switzerland spent their festive season in their native Kosovo. Now they are returning, dozens of flights from Pristina realised every day. It's called for mass.
Rest has caused problems with Swiss authorities for weeks. There is great fear that many people have been infected at family holidays. “Bilanci of the damage” in the form of coronary numbers will be discovered in the following days, writes the Swiss medium, “Nau“, broadcast Express.
One thing is certain: In Switzerland, rules during rest days were strict. Only a maximum of ten people are allowed to meet, restaurants are closed and meetings in public spaces are strictly limited.
Many citizens of Switzerland did not notice this because they had traveled to their country for Christmas and New Year's. In particular, the large Kosovo diaspora was constantly ready to travel. At least that's how planes from Pristina drop.
Tens of planes from Pristina descend to Basel
On January 2nd, nearly 50 planes from Kosovo's capital landed at Basel Airport, on January 3rd there were 25 planes. Also, at the Zurich airport in Pristina in recent days, dozens of planes landed on the airport floor at Basel.
This seems to be very problematic because Kosovo has not been on the federal government's quarantine list since late September. Thousands returning from Pristina can work on their jobs and meet with friends once they arrive.
Call for quick test for Kosovo returnees
That's exactly what's bothering some in Switzerland. National Adviser Sandra Sollberger, who works on the SVP party management committee, has called for quick test for returnees.
“People return from their family holidays from a country that has very high levels of cases with Coronavirus”, she said. “is an extreme high risk and absolutely unintelligible”, she added.
“Controls in private families and other incredible measures are in their country and at the border simply nothing happens!”, Sollberger said with harassment. Access to the airport is uncontrollable, but rapid tests would be possible without any problems, she believes.
Kosovo with lower official number of coronary cases than Switzerland
One thing is certain: the number of people infected with coronarys in Kosovo is lower than the one in Switzerland. According to the December 28th figures, the genocide was 235 per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days. For Switzerland, it's about three times higher.
