“Raport offers the first direct evidence so far that the vivid-19 infection damages the male's quality and reproductive potential,” says the study, followed by Periscope by CNN.
However, non-involved experts immediately displayed their scepticism for the conclusion of the report and called for caution in the over-alling of the research findings.
Getting sick of any virus can temporarily lower your sperm [from time to zero] for a few weeks or months. This makes it difficult to determine how much of the reductions observed by the study were specific for Covid-19 and not other diseases, said Dr. Channa Jayasena, case expert.
The study analysed 105 fertility men without Covid-19 with 84 hortilla men diagnosed with Coronavirus and analyzed their semen at an interval of 10 days for 60 days.
Compared to healthy men without Coved, the study found a significant increase in inflammation and oxidative stress in sperm cells belonging to men with Covid-19.
And differences grew depending on how serious the disease was. /Periscope
