He, after his remarks on the 22nd anniversary of this massacre, said the same is continuing to be a stain for Serbian leaders, as he is denying genocide in Kosovo.
“Janari in Recak is January of the big twist for the entire Albanian nation. These men we have today and come to honor have the objective of remembering as a witness to us the living and generations to come that the freedom we enjoy has been paid deeply, with blood and much sacrifice. What we have today is not forgiven, but highly paid”, he said.
Limaj said de Kosovo freedom is paid with blood and many sacrifices.
“Recak continues to be the face of Serbia's shame, Recak continues to be the stain which follows and is the stain on the forehead of Serbia's leaders who continue to deny those who committed this massacre. As genocide and massacres carried out throughout Belgrade continue to be denied Kosovo is a signal to the world that in Serbia those who have slaughtered a nation continue to lead their country”, he said.
While he also spoke of Jakup Krasniqi's absence on this anniversary, which is being held in The Hague by the Special Court.
“Today we are for the first time in Recak without the former KLA spokesman, without the National Council chairman. The man who gave voice to both war and Serbian crimes in Kosovo”, he said.
