Likaj expressed satisfaction with reaching this agreement and successfully completing negotiations between the SBASK and the Ministry of Education.
Likaj also said they worked intensively until the agreement was reached.
I am pleased that we have reached this agreement and successfully concluded negotiations. We've had excellent cooperation. We worked intensively until we reached a draft and a joint compromise”, said Minister Likaj.
He also said they had the understanding of the SBASK chairman's payment of teachers in two installments.
We have a consensus with the SBASK to postpone implementation by 2023 to start a 13th wage for pre-university education. The 13th salary is closely linked to performance of the educational system. Today the agreement will be signed with SBASK. For the additional payment, we have reached agreement with the prime minister, linear in two installments of”, Rame Likaj said, among other things.
