Former LDK President Faton Bislimi, in the “Kallxo Pernime” debate, has commented on one of the points of the September 4th agreement in Washington, that of stopping Kosovo from applying for membership in international organisations.

Commenting on this fact, Bislim has received examples of two powerful European states.

“Switzerland became a member of the United Nations Organization about 10 years ago. Can they say Switzerland gave up citizenship for being a member of the UN? Great Britain, which emerged from the European Union, gave up its citizenship?”, Bislimi said initially.

Asked by Vjosa Osmani adviser Faton Peci, why he takes examples from Switzerland and Britain, Bislim said he has claims that Kosovo will do better than Switzerland and Great Britain.

I pretend to publish Kosovo better than Switzerland and Great Britain in the long run. I know it's not today, but if we don't have any ambition to do that, what we're looking for in politics”, Bislim said.
