Kosovo's Afarism Oda through a letter has been addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs and has expressed concern about not supplying cars, trucks and license tools.
This is not a license supply, which is resulting as a result of lack, is weighing and damaging local businesses, so we demand that an emergency solution be offered to businesses.
Based on complaints that we like OAK have accepted, businesses are constantly complaining about not equipping cargo tools with license plates, even though they are forced to return the old signs that are with the KS, but are not being supplied with new ones, the letter says.
In the event that businesses continue to secure vehicles and return the KS signs, they are not being supplied with new RKS signs, which is preventing them from leaving Kosovo's borders.
The long-standing transport sector is facing several challenges, which stem from Kosovo's non-membership in TIR, and coped with the lack of plates only because it burdens their functioning and being competitive in the market.
All this is a major obstacle to local businesses to circulate abroad, which is also favouring the region's carriers, so Kosovo's Afarism Oda urgently requires that it be reacted to the resolution of this problem, which is present and a heavy burden to businesses from November last year.
