The candidate nominated for prime minister by the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, in a discussion with the éilson Centerı Institute, has said the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should be conducted without a surrounding president.

Kurti wrote in Facebok that she attended last night's discussion organised by the renowned International Institute Wilson Center, where the Republic of Kosovo's domestic and foreign policy was talked about.

Kurti has also talked about dialogue with Serbia, saying that dialogue should not be built on maps and on maps should not have presidents around as in the past.

I said dialogue should be a process that is based on the content of the agreement, not in a hurry to achieve it. Dialogue should not be built on maps and on maps should not have presidents around as in the past. The precondition for normalising reports between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia should be normalising the countries themselves through this process. Serbia is not a democratic country, it refuses to face the past, so this EU and US-brokered dialogue process would first have to normalise Serbia. The final aim of this process would have to be to improve the lives of citizens and not to compensate Serbia for the losses suffered by the Milosevic genocide regime in the years of dealt with”, Kurti wrote.

Full Posting:

Last night, I participated in the discussion organised by the renowned International Institute of Wilson Center, based in the United States. Under the fashion of international relations expert, Europe programme director under Wilson Center, Mr. Daniel Hamilton, in question, addressed the current internal and foreign policy topics of the Republic of Kosovo.

There I stressed that February 14th will be a referendum, which will enable citizens to choose between old condoms and politicians of a new era to cope with multiple crises that are straining the citizens' situation. Improving the country's socioeconomic situation is possible only through economic development, which also depends on direct foreign investment, with emphasis on those in our country's diaspora. In the past 20 years, these investments were overcome by high corruption and organised crime of the old elite. Therefore, reform in justice and rule of law are preconditions for economic development. The participants announced that all these steps were envisioned at the Movement V Movement Alternative This building around the two basic demands of citizens: Business and Justice.

With hundreds of participants in this event, generally international experts, they were interested in getting to know our stances about reports with countries in the region, in particular about dialogue with Serbia. I said dialogue should be a process that is based on the content of the agreement, not on the rush to achieve it. The final aim of this process would have to be to improve the lives of citizens and not to compensate Serbia for the losses suffered by the Milosevic genocide regime in the 1990s.

An agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, which is based on values and principles, except on facts and interests, would have a positive impact on the entire region, which must jointly progress towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The integration process can be accelerated with a more intensive co-operation of countries in the region under the Berlin Process, which needs to be advanced by a “Plan Marshal” for the Western Balkans, which would help democratise countries, develop their economies and unify divided cities, which remain as open wounds in some Balkan countries.
