Former Justice Minister Hajredin Kuci has said there has been an effort for the Special Court to be established in Kosovo, but failed because the pressure was great.
He says the US president-elect himself demanded that this be done, while adding that the threat was serious for this court to be created on the Security Council as well.
“Special Court came under obligation, we asked it to take place in Duz or Bondstheel”, he said at T7.
It's been awesome. You noticed in 2016. When it failed the first time, there were also deputies who said not to vote. But we're here. There has also been a threat to the Security Council. Beden requested the Special Court, the key is in Washington and Brussels. It was Frank Wisner's company. They told us to take him or leave him. Even integration processes, as if visa liberalisation, would fail”, Kuci added.
