In the fourth quarter of 2020, the number of passengers who used the train as a travel vehicle was about 15,000 or 52 percent less compared to the fourth quarter 2019, the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has announced today.
In the “report Transport and Telecommunications Statistics” for the fourth quarter (TM4) 2020, with data on air transport, railway, road and telecommunications, it is said that the transport of train goods in the fourth quarter of 2020 was about 145 thousand tonnes, or 5.06 percent more compared to the same period 2019.
As for the number of flights in the fourth quarter of 2020, it was 1,396 flights that represent a 23 percent drop compared to the same period 2019. The number of travelers using the plane as a vehicle was about 377,000, or 28.62 percent less than the same 2019 period.
