Following the letter various academics have addressed Serbia's Academy for the dismissal of Kostic, a protest has been organised in Belgrade today, since Kostic's statements that “Kosovo is not of Serbia” are considering it unconstitutional, Express reports.
Hundreds of citizens have participated in this protest until they have been addressed by independent Serbian MP Vladan Glisic, Misa Djurdovic and Nemanja Vukovic the officer of justice who has organised the protest.
Kostic claimed that “Kosovo is neither de facto nor de jure” had done so in response to an interview of an Orthodox Church clergyman who had said that “Kosovo is the Jerusalem of Serbia”
