Within the framework of meeting the requirements of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union, the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Finance has, respectively, made serious efforts in initialising and signing agreements on eliminating double taxes with several countries, especially with EU members.
To date, Kosovo has signed 17 agreements on Eliminating Double Tax, of which 15 have entered into force.
Today, the agreement with Lithuania was signed, while the same agreement with Estonia has been initiated.
