Kosovo floods: Several families are evacuated in Rahovec

The head of Rahovec's municipality, Smajl Latifi, has announced that the evacuation of families has required patience and that all this situation is together.

In these late hours, now when the situation is not so good because of the problems that are bringing us rainfall, especially in Sapniq, Fort, Ratcoc, etc..., let me inform you that we are doing everything possible to help you. Two families were evacuated from the village of Sapniq tonight, as well as two families from the village of Forte, some families also from the village of Pataqam Lower, all after their homes were flooded as a result of unbroken rainfall”, wrote Latifh hours ago.

Meanwhile, he has indicated that during the night municipal teams have been on the ground to intervene on flooded terrain.

“Differently, municipal teams all levels are on the ground prepared for each possible intervention. Please without panic, the rainfall is expected to cease in the early hours of the morning, until then we need your cooperation so that we can get through this” situation together, Latifi wrote.
