Kosovo elderly people swallow dental prosthetics, children peanuts and nails

ORL Clinic Director at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, Hajdin Thaci, has indicated that children are most endangered by the swallowing of foreign troops, but that even the elderly have sought medical assistance at the clinic after swallowing items.

Thaci has said that elderly people swallow tooth dentures and diggers.

The most endangered conditions are the pediatric ages of 0 to 3 years. Other older conditions are less endangered. Older ages usually swallow infertiles, old ones swallow moving tooth prosthes, which may fall on larynx1>, he said.

And he has said that children usually swallow peanuts, beans, and nuts, which can completely close their breathing routes.

“Organic foreign groups are those that belong to food forms, while inorganic are needles, metal coins. While, mostly, foreign troops such as peanuts, pumpkin seeds, nuts, beans, which can close airways”, he has declared.

Thaci has said that about 50 cases of swallowing foreign troops require assistance each year at the ORLA Clinic.
