Economy and Environment Minister (MEA) Muharrem Nitaj has met today with the KED management, where it was announced for the state of electricity supply to Kosovo.
During the meeting, Minister Nitaj asked the ECDS management to have good electricity supplies across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo during these days, when temperatures have dropped below zero.
Also, Nitaj's special message was to have no power outages at any polling centre during February 14th, when extraordinary parliamentary elections are held in Kosovo.
KED's management announced to Minister Nitaj that the most problematic situation could be presented in the Malisheva municipality, as a result of problems previously inherited. Minister Nitaj asked KEDs to pre-sure alternative power supply opportunities during election day at all polling stations in this municipality.
KEDS pledged to do whatever is possible so that the power supply is not lacking during the day of the vote, while announcing that teams will take to the ground to control the state of technical stability in the facilities, which will be like polling stations.
