This year, the 1-year professional and academic programme will be attended by 61 candidates, who come with different profiles from countries throughout Kosovo.

The shortlisted candidates also praised KED chief executive Alper Erbas, who welcomed them. He said the success witnessed by the candidates would open up new opportunities for them.

“KEDS Academy is a path that will bring new experiences for each of you. In addition to opportunities for professional preparation, you will be trained by professional and qualified legalists within KED and Boğazici University in Istanbul”, Erbas said.

He stressed that through KDS Academy candidates will also have access to employment in KED.

The goal of the programme is to create tomorrow's leaders. Today, there are excellent leaders in KED who have left the academy. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be able, along with taking local and international experiences and expertise, to have access to the local market”, Erbas added.

Unlike past years, this year due to the pandemic situation, candidates will be able to follow the programme virtually, from a distance, by respecting health institutions' guidelines for preventing the spread of Covid-19.

To date, about 350 students who have emerged from 7 generations of KEDS Academy have been trained and certified through this programme. A large number of them are employed in KED, playing an important role in the company's further development.
