US President Joe Biden has signed several executive orders for climate change, including the ban on several power drillings.
These decisions aim to reduce or reduce rent on public land and double energy production from the wind by 2030.
Biden said today is Klimma Day at the White House, writes BBC.
“We have waited too long and can't wait any longer”, Biden said.
These decisions signed by Biden are said to have formed office within the White House, which will deal with climate change as well as a summit of leaders to be held in April for Earth Day.
Biden officials say climate change according to the Bidendo programme will be part of national security and foreign policy.
Biden called on the US National Intelligence Director to prepare an intelligence report on climate change impacts in security.
