Jetish Maloku elected head of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council

In his opening speech, he mentioned his objectives in the new task.

I have submitted my candidacy for leadership of the KKP, and for that purpose I want to express to you my goals, which are increasing accountability, transparency, integrity and empowerment of their” mechanisms, Maloku said.

He also promised that during his mandate he would seek to constantly monitor the integrity of prosecutors, as well as <x0->mat of their performance”.

In addition, Maloku said he would engage in the discipline of prosecutors and strengthen the treatment of cases of possible violations by them. Thus, he said he aimed at boosting even the performance of members of the disciplinary panels.

Maloku in this position succeeds Bahri Hyseni, who was elected to the post two years ago by the unanimous vote of members of the Procusorial Council.
