Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Nicolaa Orlando, has met with CEC chairman Valdete Daka, where they discussed elections.
Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Nicolaa Orlando, met CEC chairman Valdete Daka, where they discussed organising early elections, news reports.
Orlando through a Twitter post has said Italy supports free, fair and peaceful voting.
“During a meeting with CEC chairman Valdete Daka briefed me on the election preparations. I confirmed Italy's support for free, fair and peaceful vote”, writes between the rest of the Orlando.
He further stressed that all parties and candidates should promote an honest race for all.
All parties and candidates are now called on to promote an honest race for all Kosovo in order to hear the voice of all citizens”, the ambassador has written.
The president's U.d. Vjosa Osmani days ago set February 14th as the date for holding early parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
