FAR is so popular in Italy that it even entered the Senate vote for distrust of the government where Adriano Gallian participated.
It was Gallian who put pressure on the introduction of goal line technology when he was director of Milan, and he now remains in football as head of the Monza team of Serie B.
Gallian is also a Senator, and for that reason he was present in the Senate's no-confidence vote in the Government of Prime Minister Giusppe Cote,
There were chaotic scenes when Senator Alfonso Ciampollo protested in rage that he had voted before the deadline, even though it had been electronically recorded that he would come next.
At one point, he made the gesture WAR with his hands and Senate President Elizabeth Casellatti went to watch the video on a repeat shoot.
Repeating worked because the vote was accepted.
