Israel's main international airport will close almost completely for next week, as the government banned all incoming flights from non-Israel airlines in an effort to prevent entry into place instead of new coronary variants.
The measures went into effect at midnight and will last until 31 January, according to a joint statement by the prime minister's office and the Health Ministry on Sunday.
Israeli lines are also facing temporary “limit” on their operating licenses, which means they are expected to cancel all flights. Exceptions will be only in emergencies for medical treatment, legal procedures that require mandatory participation or to allow participation in funerals for relatives.
