With deep sorrow, I received the sad news of a professor's separation from life, Riza Smaka. Riza Smaka belonged to a prominent generation of intellectuals who had all their vital engagement in service to the society and state of Kosovo. He left a lasting impression on the education of many generations of students, as well as on political life, serving as deputy in the Kosovo Parliament.
On today's morning, he passed away at the age of 78, Professor Riza Smaka. He has also been an MP in the Kosovo Assembly since 2008-2011. He was a member of the Commission for drafting the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as one of the signatories of the Kosovo Declaration of Independence”, Mustafa wrote.
