In the last 24 hours, in the lab of molecular microbiology at IKKPK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,281 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground case contacts, of which the 206 positive cases resulted.
Six cases of death with SARS reported within 24 hours CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Fushe-Kosovo 2 cases (71, 74), Pristina 2 cases (77, 72), Mitrovica 1 case (74), Prizren 1 case (73).
The total number of positive cases is 53.982 cases out of 198,342 suspected persons in the SARS-CV-2 virus and 1,383 cases of death.
During the last 24 hours, 389 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 46,648, while the number of active cases is 5,951.
The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 54 cases, Podujevo 18 cases, Mitrovica 17 cases, Lipjan 15 cases, Ferizaj 13 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 13 cases, Peja 11 cases, Vushje 10 cases, Gjakova 8 cases, Drinas 6 cases, Gjilan 5 cases, Malisheva five cases, Rahovec 4 cases, Suhareka 4 cases, Kacanik 3 cases, Kli 3 cases, Oqbil 3 cases, Skenderaj 3 cases, Decan 2 cases, Istog, Entje 2 cases, Srpca and 2 inst, and a municipality, Prizren, and Prizren.
Dear citizens,
Given the assessment of the current situation with COVID -19, The IKSHPK reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.
IK The KPS appeals to all citizens, institutions, and public and private organisations, to the respect and undertaking of all necessary measures for prevention, management and control of COVID-19, taking into account the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and decisions in force on the measures and obligations of institutions to implement general and specific measures for protection from the CORVID-19 pandemic.
In particular, we call for implementation of recommendations and respect of restrictive measures for public activities, respectively, restrictions on the collection of citizens and public gatherings.
Gathering citizens without masks and keeping distance increases the risk of spreading infection while the SARS-COV-2 virus is present among us.
We appeal to responsible institutions, Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectors respectively, to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions to implement measures and other decisions in force in the implementation of the Law to prevent and fight pandemic on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
