The National Institute of Public Health, has announced the recent epidemiological situation in our country, where within 24 hours, 8 people from COVID-19 have died, and 301 new cases have been recorded.
The number of cures within the day has gone to 181.
The IKPK, has made it known that 2,000 and 325 samples have been tested, taken at SKKKUK and from tracking cases.

In the last 24 hours, in the lab of molecular microbiology at IKKPK and private labs with RT- The PCR, in all, has tested 2,325 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground case contacts, resulting in 301 positive cases.
Within 24 hours, eight cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Decan 1 case (91), Gjakova 1 case (75), Gjilan 1 case (85), Malisheva 1 case (82), Obilic 1 case (70), Pristina 1 case (61), Skenderaj 1 case (74) and Vushtrri 1 case (54).
The total number of positive cases is 58,988 cases of 225,830 suspicious persons in the SARS-CV-2 virus and 1,479 cases of death.
During the last 24 hours, 181 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 51,518, while the number of active cases is 5,991.
The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 127 cases, Ferizaj 19 cases, Podujevo 18 cases, Gjakova 16 cases, Suhareka 16 cases, Peja 15 cases, Malisheva 14 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 13 cases, Lipjan 13 cases, Prizren 11 cases, Dragash 5 cases, Kacanik 5 cases, Kline 5 cases, Obilic 5 cases, Rahovec 3 cases, Drenas 2 cases, Gjilan 2 cases, Mitrovica 2 cases, add 2 and, in one case, Decacan municipality, Gracac, Ipovac, Irpca, Ipca, and Shrpta.

Given the assessment of the current epidemiological situation with COVID -19, a greater number of positive cases and deaths have been reported this month. Intensive hospital doctors are fighting this insidious, destructive virus with all their professional and human power.
The number of positive cases continues to be high and worry due to direct neglect of the measures.
IK The KPS reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.
IK The KPS appeals to all citizens, institutions, and public and private organisations, to the respect and undertaking of all necessary measures for prevention, management and control of COVID-19, taking into account the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and decisions in force on the measures and obligations of institutions to implement general and specific measures for protection from the CORVID-19 pandemic.
In particular, we call for implementation of recommendations and respect of restrictive measures for public activities, respectively, restrictions on the collection of citizens and public gatherings.
Gathering citizens without masks and keeping distance increases the risk of spreading infection while the SARS-COV-2 virus is present among us.
We appeal to responsible institutions, Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectors respectively, to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions to implement measures and other decisions in force in the implementation of the Law to prevent and fight pandemic on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
