The candidate for prime minister from PDK ranks, Enver Hoxhaj, has congratulated Philip Gordon, who has been elected deputy adviser to National Security in the office of US Vice President Kamala Harris.
Hoxhaj, through a post on the social Twitter network, has said he feels happy that friends who have participated in the state building Kosovo are turning to the White House.
He has also said he expects the new US administration to work closely to complete the path Kosovo has started, become a full member and equal in the UN.
“Urimme for Philip Gorgon, the appointment of Deputy National Security Vice President Kamala Harris. I am happy to see friends who were part of Kosovo's statehood, returning to the White House. I expect to work closely with the new administration to complete what we started together: Kosovo, a full and equal member of the UN.”, has written Hoxhaj on Twitter.
Philip Gordon had been hosting Enver Hoxhan's meeting while he was foreign affairs minister in 2011, until he held the position of Assistant American Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia.
Gordon has been a strong supportive voice for Kosovo's independence, as well as to lead the country towards UN membership.
