The House of Representatives rule committee is holding a hearing session on a resolution that claims Donald Trump “widely promoted and encouraged the crowd” to cause chaos at the American Congress and that Deputy President Mike Pence should take office of president.
The Democrats, who control the room, are calling for the Pence of the “immediately implements the 25th amendment and announce the republic unable for the office, bc reports.
“Get us out of this nightmare we've been immersed in these last events”, Democrat Jamie Raskin claimed during the hearing, addressing Pence and other cabinet officials.
The 25th Amandament Change allows the vice president to become temporary president when a president is unable to continue his duties, if, for example, he or she becomes disabled because of a physical or mental illness.
Part of the difference discussed is section four, which allows the subpressor and most of the cabinet to declare President Trump unable to carry out his duties.
The president is given the chance to offer a written answer, and if he opposes finding, then the Congress will decide. Every vote in the Senate and the House of Representatives ordering the president's departure requires a two-thirds majority.
