The prime minister in office, Avdullah Hoti, has been homazhe at Recak's Memorial complex on the 22nd anniversary of this massacre, Online Economics reports.

On January 15th 1999, 44 unarmed Albanians were killed in Recak.
Recak massacre witnessed by O mission The SEU in Kosovo, which affected NATO's intervention over Serb goals.
Former O Mission Chief The SEU, William Walker, had been alarmed that crime against humanity is taking place in Kosovo.
