The Government's announcement says that Hoti has visited the Centre of Situations today, where he has been closely informed of the situation in municipalities after the recent rains of rain and snow that have caused floods in many regions of the country.
At a meeting with the director of this centre, Shacirir Shaqiri, and Secretary of Security Shpend Trdeva, Hoti has discussed measures to be taken in order to best manage the situation.
Kosovo institutions are closely conveying the situation and all state capacities have been put in a state-run position, including the Agency for Emergency Management, Local Staff and the Kosovo Security Force.
Also, Hoti is in communication with KFOR commander General Franco Federic, who has expressed readiness to offer the assistance of the peacekeeping force if that is necessary.
To take a close look at the situation created by recent rains that have caused flooding in various regions of the country, Hoti today at 12:30 will visit the village of Dobroshec of the Drenas Town.
