The Central Election Commission yesterday held seven-hour marathon meetings in which hot topic discussion was the Certificate of lists of political subjects competing in the February 14th elections.
The recommendation of the Office for Recording and Certificate of Political Partys that supported the Certificate of all candidates, including those who have been sentenced in the past three years, was the cause of all tough conversations.
This was supported by Vetevendosje, AAK and NISMA, but was rejected by the PDK, the LDK, as well as leader Valdete Daka.
At the end of the long meeting, the Initiative, which has convicted persons on its list, was neither certified as a party nor as a list.
It was similar with the Vetevendosje list that Albin Kurti leads with a sentence pronounced in the last three years. The same fate had the AAK.
Of the major green light parties received the LDK's lists.
In Vetevendosje they consider all of this to be done to prevent Kurt and others from being in the election race. While injustice is also considered at the AAK Initiative warning further legal actions.
Uncensed subjects have the right to complaint in the Electoral Panel for Anxiety and Parashta, and then the Supreme Court.
Under the CEC's operational plan, the entire certificate process must be completed on 31 January.
