HANDICOS is expected to employ 10 disabled persons, part of tailor training

HANDICOS in co-operation with the Balkan Forum” in December of last year has started implementing the project, aimed at protecting the environment in Kosovo, through promoting the use of reuseable bags, reducing the use of one-use plastic bags and plastic waste, where 10 disabled persons are being trained.

After the training is completed, these 10 participants will be offered access to employment at a given time or at an opportunity to continue.

Limited persons continue to be discriminated against in the field of employment in Kosovo, so even their involvement should be taken into account by any public or private institution, as the Employment Law envisions.

This very useful and necessary activity is being enabled under the “project including disabled persons in the human capital market to contribute to environmental protection by producing bags/trains of reused textile”, which is supported by the Swiss Office in Kosovo.
