For days, it has been discussed delaying limited measures against the coronary. Chancellor Merkel and the prime ministers of the countries now agreed to tighten the rules. The situation is dramatic, said in Berlin.
In the coronary crisis, Christian Democrat Chancellor Angela Merkel and the prime ministers of the countries decided on stricter restrictive measures: The Federation and the banks will further restrict freedom of movement for people in so-called hotspots. As the Chancellor announced at a press conference after several hours of consultations with leaders of the countries, in regions with a seven-day incident of more than 200 cases of infection for 100,000 residents freedom of movement will be possible within only one segment of up to 15km from the settlement. Exceptions will be only for good reasons.
Right Measures Despite Harm
It has also strengthened contact restrictions: members of one family are allowed to meet only one person from another family. Up until now, up to five people from the maximum of two families were allowed to meet. Merkel called this „a return to the regulation of March”. That's right, even though it's harsh for people. Accommodation of restrictive measures, the Chancellor argued with the new corruption mutation, which causes more contact infections as well as the overload of hospital intensive care wards. Some hospitals have faced „situation at limit”.
Current restrictions will be in effect by 31 January, children's schools and kindergartens by then will be the „generally” closed. On January 25th, the prime ministers of the countries and federation will make a re-evaluation of the situation and consult the measures in February. Bavari's prime minister, Christian Marcus Söder, called attention to the state of no illusion, that in February this situation would have been overcome.
Baden-Wirsteberg follows another course
Baden-Wyrtemberg's Land has still left the implementation of some measures open. Limitations of free movement within the 15km segment from the settlement to the hotspots of coronary infections have not been planned for the time being, the prime minister of the land said by the environmentalist Winfried Kretschmann. This will be decided next week after full figures are presented. The current figures will depend on whether or not to open children's kindergartens and primary schools on January 18th.
Experts' Counsel
Merkel and Söder, as well as Berlin's ruling mayor, Socialdemoctre Michael Müller noted, which the previous day had a consultation with experts. On the basis of scientific assessments, politicians and politicians in Berlin were consulted on Tuesday (05.01). Initially, restrictions were imposed until January 10th. But during the last days, there was wide consensus on delaying the measures. The doctors ' representatives had also drawn attention to a hasty softness of the masses.
