German Ambassador to Pristina Jorn Rohde has said he expects all Kosovo institutions to organise creditable and transparent elections in line with all international standards.
Rohde has said all pre-election procedures are continuing, including the certificate of candidates.
These procedures are regulated by law and include the possibility of a complaint”, Rohde wrote.
Finally, the German top diplomat has said it is important that independent institutions have room for performing the work without interference.
All parties should respect equal treatment and relevant rules and guidelines, which guarantee fair and transparent elections. It is important that independent institutions and relevant judicial organs have the opportunity to perform their work without interference”, Rohde has said.
This reaction by the German ambassador comes after today's conference of CEC chief Valdete Daka, who has said threats to her and the CEC are unprecedented and dangerous.
This Daka conference was prompted last night by a statement by Glauk Konjufca, after the latter said Valdete Daka is working in the CEC against Kurt and that from this institution they are wanting the political elimination of Kurti.
