In other parts of the country, the amount of rainfall is expected to be smaller.
The “Respects, which are expected to begin from 23/01/2021, would initially include the western part of Kosovo (the mountain region of the Albanian Alps), will gradually extend to the east, initially with average to high intensity, including parts of municipalities like: Gjakova, Junik, Decani, Peja, Istog, Kline, Malisheva, Rahovec, Therand, Mamusa, Prizren, Dragas, and so on, which can cause rapid flooding. This is the formal announcement of this event and that this does not mean that the rapid flooding will occur, but it is possible”, the announcement said.
