One of these families has taken refuge in a hotel, while other families have fled to their relatives.

That's what they said in an answer to the news.net in the Drenas County. While they say the commissions are already on the ground and are doing the damage assessment.

The “commissions that are on the ground several days are making the damage assessment. This process has not yet been completed so that we can have the exact amount of damage done in our municipality. Under the decision, the commission will draft a report after work is completed on the field. A family that has appeared has been sheltered at one of the city's hotels, while others have been sheltered to their relatives”, said Laureta Thaqi, official for Information in Drenas.

Also from the municipality, they have said that since the municipality has no budgetary potential for compensation for damages, we will address the requirements for compensation of damages in Government.

Because as a municipality we don't have budgetary opportunities for compensation for damages, we will address our demands for compensation of damages according to the assessment of the commissions that were formed to assess damage in the family economy, businesses, infrastructure and agricultural culture”, Thaci has said.

Meanwhile, the municipality today has called on the citizens of Drenas, that by tomorrow, at 19,01.2021, 12:00, they will submit the demand for assessing the damage caused by the floods in this municipality.
